A bilingual learning platform for exam candidates

The network's schools prepared students for national exams with photocopied past papers and handwritten marking. Teachers had no view of which topics a class was struggling with until results arrived, and parents saw a single grade at the end of term.

We built a web platform for teachers and a lightweight mobile app for students, designed for inexpensive Android phones and intermittent data. Mock exams follow the official formats in both languages, run on a timer and continue offline. Marking for objective questions is instant; teachers mark written answers against a shared rubric.

Reporting was designed with teachers in weekly sessions. The result is a topic-level view of every class, and a one-page summary parents can read on a phone.

Teachers plan revision around what each class actually gets wrong. Students sit more practice exams because they can do it on the bus. Parents receive a short, readable progress update every fortnight.
